Happy Valentine's Day!

Will you be celebrating Valentine's day today? Mike and I have never done anything extravagant...usually we just get dressed up for a nice dinner out together. This year though, due to a tighter budget and a busy schedule, I don't even think dinner out will happen. But you know what? We really don't need Valentine's day to know that we love each other. There are much smaller and less expensive things that I appreciate more than dinner out. For example, I appreciate when Mike cleans the cat's litter box or when he stops on his way home from hockey practice & brings chocolate chip cookies home. So it'll be a low-key celebration for us, and I think that's just great :) Whether you're single, dating, or married, I hope you have a day full of love & all things happy!

Finding Beauty in the Ordinary
I love Heather's blog because she writes with inspiring honesty. I recommend you start here - specifically read the portion titled "Our Testimony" - and then read her recent post on "coming full circle" (isn't her baby girl adorable?!). Heather's faith, family, and writing are truly all so beautiful!

The Chronicles of Ruthie Hart
I so admire Ruthie for her heart for God and the way she shares her love & His word on her blog. She and her husband just seem like really fun people to be around, and they just recently shared that they are expecting their first baby this August!

I love Abbey's writing and fashion style. I imagine the way she writes to be exactly how she speaks, which makes her blog relate-able and lets her sense of humor shine through.
